Personalized training and accounts
The personalized service uses assessment answers to check product suitability and prepare a training structure. Answers include age, training history, goals, equipment, availability, preferences and readiness disclosures. Height and weight are requested for a fat-loss suitability check. Do not include medical records or identifying details in notes. This is not a medical assessment.
When enabled, account and training records are stored in Supabase; Netlify hosts the website and server functions. Stripe processes personalized-program payments. BYI stores order references, payment status, amount, currency and checkout email, not full card numbers. Verified account email attaches a matching purchase. Supabase handles authentication.
Automated programming and Riff
Programming uses a versioned automated rules system. A trainer or clinician does not individually review each plan. Riff retrieves relevant saved program information and recent exercise records. Questions needing additional explanation may be sent, with that limited training context, to OpenAI. Assessment free-text notes and payment details are excluded from that context. Your question may contain information you enter, so do not send sensitive records or third-party personal information.
Riff conversations are stored separately from authoritative program data and do not silently modify it. API response storage is disabled in the model request; this is not a promise of zero provider retention. Providers may process information outside Canada. Provider contracts, locations and retention arrangements require review before personalized purchases open.
Member storage and service measurement
Account cookies maintain sign-in. An opaque assessment cookie links an unpurchased draft for up to seven days. Optional device remembering stores non-health selections for seven days, excluding age, measurements, readiness disclosures and notes. Unsynced workout entries may be held in this tab’s session storage. The interface distinguishes a tab draft from an account-saved record. Avoid shared devices and sign out when finished.
First-party events record actions such as assessment steps, checkout, generation and workout completion, excluding assessment notes, chat text and measurements. Riff usage is measured for allowances and approximate cost monitoring. These are not advertising profiles. Authorized operators can review purchase and processing status through restricted access.
Access, correction and retention
Contact BYI privately using the route below for access, correction or deletion requests or to withdraw optional processing. Ownership must be verified without passwords or card details. Purchase records may require retention for accounting or disputes. Active plans retain the assessment snapshot used to create them. Final retention periods, deletion procedures and the privacy contact must be approved and operational before personalized purchases open.
Information you choose to share
When you request the Training Setup Kit, sample plan PDF or register interest, we store your email address, name if supplied, the type and source of your request, and submission times. Coaching inquiries can also include your general goal, gym experience, training availability, and Instagram handle. Please do not submit medical or sensitive personal information.
Why we collect it
We use this information to provide the requested resource, manage your inquiry or program interest, and keep a record of your request. The requested PDF is unlocked on the page after your email request is saved, not sent by email. Completing a form does not automatically enroll you in a marketing newsletter.
Storage and access
Submissions are stored using Netlify’s hosted storage infrastructure and are accessible to the site operator through a protected lead-management area. Service providers may process data outside Canada. We do not sell your personal information. Inquiry records are reviewed periodically and removed when no longer needed, or following a verified deletion request, subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Browser storage and basic protection
We store a local preference in your browser to remember a dismissed signup popup or completed resource request. You can clear it in your browser settings. Successful resource requests set an essential, signed download cookie for that resource, lasting 30 minutes. It contains no email address and is not a marketing tracker. Clearing it or changing browsers means you will need to request the download again. The site uses a short-lived hashed network identifier for submission rate limiting. It expires after its 15-minute window and is scheduled for hourly cleanup; it is not a marketing tracking profile. The hosting provider may maintain operational security logs.
External services
Links to IM8, Instagram, Nocturnum, and Payhip checkout are governed by those services’ own privacy policies. IM8’s referral link uses affiliate attribution. No payment-card information is collected by this site.
Your choices and contact
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your submission by contacting @beginyourimpossible on Instagram. Please identify the request without posting personal details publicly. A dedicated contact mailbox will be listed once it is active.
